Abstract: Under the current education system, preschool teachers in public and private kindergartens have both commonalities and differences in pay structure, job intensity and job burnout. This paper analyzes the differences in professional treatment, job intensity, and job burnout between public and private kindergartens by using a combination of case studies and surveys. Findings: First, public kindergarten teachers’ salary and benefits are better than private garden teachers. Second, the work intensity of preschool teachers as a whole is higher, and the work intensity of private garden teachers is greater than that of public garden teachers. Third, the prevalence of preschool teachers is not serious, and the job burnout of public garden teachers is more serious than that of private garden teachers. The study believes that in order to improve the quality of preschool education, the state should increase financial investment in preschool education and improve the treatment of kindergarten teachers. Parents have more respect and understanding for teachers, and establish a harmonious relationship between tutors; teachers also have to adjust themselves and face pressure.
