The Correlation Study of College Students Speciality Identity and Career Decisionmaking Difficulty

ity or not has become an important factor which will affect speciality ability development and career choice. This study investigated 127 senior students of Nanjing Agricultural University by using questionnaire to find out their speciality identity and career decisionmaking difficulty. By using single factor analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and other statistical methods through SPSS 19.0 to explain the relationship between speciality identity and career decisionmaking difficulty of this 127 senior students. The results showed that: the grand average score of this 127 senior students speciality identity is 3.45 point, which is slightly higher than the medium threshold,which is 3 point.The mean value of their speciality identitys level is above the average level. The grand average score of career decisionmaking difficulty is 2.58 point, which is slightly lower than the medium threshold which is 3 point. The career decisionmaking difficultys level is below the average level. There exists a negative correlation between speciality identity and career decisionmaking difficulty, and it is also correlated significantly.

1.职业决策困难的相关概念界定
Keynesian最早提出了职业决策的概念,他认为,这是个人在选择多种职业时应该权衡职业目标,努力实现最大的利益,将损失减少到最低的过程。Gati(2001)认为,职业决策是一个人对自身能得到的所有信息进行衡量、筛选之后,选择出自己理想职业的过程[5]。总的来说,职业决策是人们通过分析自己的特性、外部环境以及发展趋势后,来确定适合的职业领域的过程。
职业决策未定向(career undecidness)的概念是由Criets(1969)提出的,他认为职业决策未定向是指个人未决定将来所要从事何种职业活动[6]。Gati和Osipow(1996)根据职业决策未定向概念的基础,又进一步提出了职业决策困难(career decision一making difficulty)[7]。这些困难会从两方面影响决策者的行为:阻碍个人的决策制定;即使做出决策,也并不是最优决策。在国内学者的研究中,龙立荣和彭永新(2000)是这样定义职业决策困难的:个人在决定就业选择时,因为不知道要从事什么职业或在几个选择中无法挑选时所发生的困难状态[8]。综上所述,对职业决策困难概念有两种界定法,第一种界定是指个体在职业生涯发展中会遇到的一个过程或一种状态,第二种则是指在择业过程中可能会遇到的各种困难。研究对象总的也是分为两大人群:面临初次职业选择的大学毕业生群体和想要换工作而面临再次职业选择的在职人员群体。
考虑到本文的研究对象是大学生群体,拟选择李娜(2009)给出的职业决策困难的定义:大学生在职业探索期中遇到的各种职业选择的困难。主要体现在:信息探索不完整、准备不足和多方面的冲突矛盾等方面 [9]。
