In the context of large data, modern people are indulging in mobile phones and wifi network. In order to meet the needs of modern life, the hotel catering industry is from the traditional to the information-based gradual change, the hotel for the Ministry of Food and beverage information construction has become a new trend of hotel development. How to promote the hotel catering department in the service, management, marketing and other aspects of information technology development is the hotel industry to upgrade the future hot spots. This paper chooses the staff of Jinan hotel catering department as the object of investigation, mainly elaborates the present situation and the trend of the informationization construction of the hotel catering department from the following aspects:
1. Explain the research background from the purpose of research, meaning and literature review, select the appropriate research methods, and analyze the present situation and trend of informatization construction of hotel catering department.
2. From the perspective of the internal staff of the hotel to the hotel catering department of the status quo of information technology research, based on the cross-analysis of the survey results to find out the relationship between food and beverage information related factors.
3. Forecast the hotel catering department information construction trends, and make recommendations.
