现如今很多的院校里传统的考试方式即手工出卷方式仍保持着，然而这类方式有着较多缺点：由于教师不一样而使编辑的试题也各有差别，此种情况便会影响对学生检测的统一要求，即便对相同专业水平的学生其结果也有较大差异；由于传统编写考卷的环节复杂，需要人工查阅题库并选题，导致任务量巨大，老师大量的精力和时间都被耗费；一般在学校组织考试期间，都是教师们编写好卷子后，由学校有关部门如教务处来审核是否通过，以此就会影响组织考试的效率并造成一些不便。
普通的情况下，老师想编辑一套试卷，不是从硕大的题海里一道道地将试题找出来，就是在几本有关的资料书本里将题一道道地挑选出。如此便造成编卷人员时间和精力上的浪费，试卷的难度难以掌控且试题的覆盖面也不好保障。由于想要辅助老师可以轻松的编辑一套优质的试卷，所以本系统应用jsP技术和数据库相关技术研制了该系统。
ABSTRACT
Nowadays in a lot of colleges，the traditional examination method of the manual arranging test questions always remains, however this type of approach has many drawbacks: because the teacher is not the same the edited test questions also have differences. Such a situation will affect uniform requirements for testing students. There is a big difference on the testing results even if for the students who have same professional level;due to the complex of the traditional editing paper process, it needs manual consulting test library and arranging test questions. It results in a huge amount of tasks and the teachers spent a lot of energy and time; generally in the term of organization of the examination during the school, after edited by the teachers, all the papers are reviewed by school authorities such as the Office of Academic Affairs to judge whether it will be passed. This will affect the efficiency of the organization of the examination and caused some inconvenience.
Under ordinary circumstances, if the teachers want to edit a paper, they either select one by one from the ocean of paper, or from several of the reference material and books. This will cause the wasting of the teachers’ time and effort. The difficulty about the test paper is difficult to control and the coverage of test paper will not be guaranteed. To assist the teacher in easily editting a set of high-quality test paper,this system uses the JSP technology and database technology to develop the system.

试卷自动生成系统，应用在一些专业课程的相关考试环境，能够公示信息，提供新闻公告的显示功能，允许学生在线登陆答题来完成考试，并辅助老师自动完成组卷，给教师出卷的过程提供帮助，有较强的实用性。
1.1.2 国内外发展现状
资料显示，在试卷生成系统方面目前发展最快最大的国家是美国。在校学生已普遍使用自动组卷考试平台，大约一半以上的高等院校对其学校设计适合的试卷生成系统[1]，到二十世纪末，以网络平台为主要媒介进行试卷生成系统的高校已占大多数比重，试卷生成系统所涉及的考试课程数量达到5000多个，已经是普遍应用在了高校的绝大多数考试项目中。著名的耶鲁大学（Yale University）于今年建立出了涵盖本校所有课程的试卷生成系统，通过互联网的途径，所处世界任意一角落的学生都能够进行登录并在线答题。而德国预计在未来的两年内，开展在线试卷生成系统计划，让本国各个学院的信息得到整合，来建立一套综合试题生成系统[2]。卡内基美隆大学(Carnegie Mellon University)也预计2005年研发新兴的web端在线考核系统，这会让老师和参加考试的学生得到能够及时更新的试题题库。
